Edit: Airline Guitars are now available for sale on our store.
We’re so excited to announce that we here at the ol’ Local Pickup are partnering with Airline Guitars to be one of our curated brands to carry in our store. You may recognize Airline as a vintage brand of guitars from the 1960s. They were made in the US by VALCO and sold through Montgomery Ward. Airline was bold if nothing else. They were about modernistic design, futuristic engineering, and an iconic look. But as many lower-cost vintage guitars – they go up in value and aren’t very playable beyond living room tinkering.
Eastwood Guitars, headquartered out of Canada, has rebooted the Airline brand and lines of guitars in a well-made, gig-reliable, contemporarily engineered guitar. Rebooted for a new generation, these retro rock machines are only matched in cool by the artists who have played them like David Bowie, Jack White, PJ Harvey, and many more.
