2008 Gibson Steve Howe ES-175

Modeled after the 1964 Gibson ES-175, Steve’s favorite guitar, this 2008 Steve Howe ES-175 celebrates the achievements of a man who helped elevate rock guitar into an artform. As a member of the English prog rock band Yes, Steve’s tasteful, eclectic riffs helped define a new style of music. Modeled after his personal guitar, this updated ES-175 has a Mahogany neck and a Maple body, making for easy playing and gorgeous tones.

This guitar has a headstock repair. It’s a perfect repair for playability, but the scar is very visible.  There are also a couple of crudely repaired cracks on the back. They are functionally fine, just not pretty. This guitar plays amazingly well (like the $8k guitar that it is), but due to these damaged areas and repairs, the price is radically dropped. (For a player who wants a deal on a high-end guitar for its amazing playability, this is the one for you!)
