Gibson Smart Wood Exotic Series

The Guitarchive - Composed of mahogany bodies and necks, each of Gibson's Smart Wood Les Pauls featured tops made from a different woods certified by the rainforest alliance. This model has a top made of beautiful Peroba and Gibson 490R & 498T humbuckers, which sound great. All Smart Wood Les Pauls have the Forest Stewardship Council Smart Wood-certified forestry designation on the truss rod cover. The FSC trademark identifies products that contain wood from well-managed forests, certified in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Forest Stewardship Council. A portion of all sales were donated to benefit the Rainforest Alliance.
