This rare Gibson archtop sold before we even got this video posted, heading to San Diego as we speak. Made in 1936, the L-75 was a higher-end guitar made during the Great Depression. It’s of the L series, but with a bigger body (deeper and with larger bottom bout). These were only made for a few years, as most of Gibson’s sales were being driven by the cheaper guitars Gibson was making in response to the Depression through brands like Kalamazoo and others. Beautiful guitar.
