2020 Santa Cruz 1929 O
THE GUITARCHIVE - Beautiful all-mahogany homage to the small-bodied Martins of the 20's and 30's. Crafted like only Santa Cruz can. The guitar is amazing. It sounds beautiful (as do all Santa Cruz guitars) and it sounds huge to be so small. Lots of bottom end, nice a clear and big sounding. Very comfortable to hold and write music with (due to its size). Just a great guitar all the way around.
The condition of the guitar is excellent+. I don't know of any blemishes or flaws at all. Except one that the luthier I use pointed out to me. One of the bridge pins is just slightly bigger than the others. The only way you would ever know it is if you change the strings and switched around the bridge pins, you’d find one of them only fits comfortably back into its designated hole (it’s a tiny bit bigger than the others). I got the guitar from Santa Cruz, and it was like that when I got it. My luthier noticed it. I would have never noticed it, as I tend to change the strings one at a time and always put the bridge pins back into the same hole they came out of. This quirk has no effect on the guitar’s function or sound or anything. I just wanted to point it out now that I know about it.
