The Porter Custom Tele® set features AlNiCo 5 magnets on both the neck and bridge. The bridge features a custom staggered pole design, with raised D and G poles and a copper baseplate. The Customs have a great punchy attack and excellent dynamics when playing chords, rock or blues. These pickups really respond well to volume knob changes, or to amps and pedals when you want the guitar to push them over the top. The bridge pickup is designed to push the amp and cut through the mix just right while still sounding full. The neck pickup still retains the warm and full sound that Porter’s are known for, with just a little more aggressiveness than our Standard and Vintage models.

The Local Pickup ships most items to anywhere in the Continental United States. Fees vary based on the size, weight, and value of the item.
The Local Pickup provides delivery services for $1 per mile as calculated roundtrip from 125 Caldwell St, Rock Hill, SC to the provided delivery address. The minimum fee for a delivery is $65.
For example, if you are within a
- 30-minute drive, then the delivery fee will likely be the minimum of $65
- 1-hour drive, then the fee will likely be less than $120
- 2-hour drive, then the fee will likely be less than $240
- 3-hour drive, then the fee will likely be less than $360
Any item purchased on our website can be returned (unless otherwise noted) for a full refund minus 5% stocking fee (minimum $25). Items must be returned within 10 days of receiving. We do not pay for the shipping cost to return the item. If the item's condition has been altered, the refund will reflect the resulting change in the item's value.
For in-state sales (South Carolina), The Local Pickup will collect taxes at time of purchase. We do not collect any taxes on items sold on our website to out-of-state buyers.
