2004 Tacoma BF28C Thunderhawk Baritone Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Hard Case

Very Good Condition.

The Tacoma BF28C Thunderhawk is a six-string acoustic-electric baritone guitar from Tacoma’s American-made Wing Series. Tacoma completed this guitar in Tacoma, Washington, on March 23, 2004. This date places it before Fender acquired Tacoma later that year.

Tacoma designed the Thunderhawk for B-to-B tuning. Its 29-inch scale and large cutaway body support the lower register of baritone tuning. The all-solid body uses a Sitka spruce top with figured maple back and sides. The back displays maple figuring beneath the Sunburst gloss finish.

The BF28C features Tacoma’s offset Wing soundhole and reduced Voiced Bracing Support system. It has a one-piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, pinless ebony bridge, tortoise-style binding, and Tacoma-branded tuning machines. Two recessed bolts secure the neck to the body.

The guitar features a Fishman Prefix Plus active pickup and preamp system. The onboard controls cover volume, notch, bass, contour, treble, brilliance, contour frequency, and phase.

Includes fitted hard case.

Condition:

Very good condition. The guitar shows very little general wear. The clearcoat has slight lifting and peeling around the tuning-machine posts.
