The Alesis RA-100 is a two-channel reference power amplifier designed for studio monitoring, project studios, and installed audio applications. Introduced in the 1990s, the RA-100 became a popular choice for nearfield monitor systems thanks to its low-noise design, convection cooling, and rackmount form factor.

This amplifier delivers up to 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms or 75 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with bridge-mono operation available for higher power output. Unlike fan-cooled amplifiers, the RA-100 uses large external heat sinks for silent operation, making it well suited for recording environments.

Rear panel connections include 1/4-inch balanced/unbalanced inputs, 1/4-inch loop outputs, and binding post speaker outputs. A rear-panel switch selects stereo or bridged operation. Independent front-panel level controls allow each channel to be adjusted separately.

The quality control sticker indicates a manufacturing date of August 29, 1997.
