Episode 39: 1970s Penco ES-335

This episode, we're looking at a Penco ES-335 that was made in Japan in the 1970s. When Gibson and other American guitar companies started having guitars made overseas, those manufacturers and other entrepreneurial companies started making extremely similar guitars under their own brand names. This is one of those ""lawsuit era"" guitars. What we're left with is a spitting image of a Gibson ES-335 that almost meets the original in quality and sound while costing a fraction of the price.
