Rogers Butcher Block Shell Pack 1970s – 4 Piece Maple Shells – 12/13/16/22

Good Condition. We would say very good condition to play them, but maybe fair condition when you look at the wrap on the floor tom near the seem, and lots of scratches and such. But no damage to the drums that we’ve seen. They work, sound, and play great! And when they’re set up, they look beautiful.

No hardware is included with this listing. This means no floor tom legs or bass drum spurs, and no swivels (even if you may see a swivel in a picture). We have separated the hardware into a different listing. We did this because we have multiple Rogers shell packs from this era, but we only have enough hardware to make one full kit (plus a few spare hardware parts afterwards). We just couldn’t choose which kit to make whole (they’re all so beautiful), so we separated the hardware into a different listing. It’s available for sale here as well. It’s called: “1960s/70s Rogers Drum Kit Hardware Set” – Buy this shell pack and the hardware set, and you’re up and running with the full kit.

The 1970s Rogers Butcher Block 4-piece shell pack features maple shells in sizes 12″, 13″, 16″, and 22″.  Rogers kits from this era are well-regarded for their craftsmanship, durability, and warm, resonant tone. This shell pack includes a bass drum, two mounted toms, and a floor tom, and is a great choice for drummers seeking a combination of classic 1970s style and sound.

Rogers was a highly respected drum manufacturer in the 1970s (and still is today!), known for producing innovative designs and high-quality instruments. Many of their kits from this period featured the company’s proprietary Swiv-O-Matic hardware and precision-built shells, offering both durability and ease of adjustment for working drummers. Their drums were favored by a wide range of players in rock, jazz, and studio settings, cementing Rogers’ reputation as a top-tier drum brand during the decade.
