2022 Fender Custom Shop ’50s Twisted Telecaster – Journeyman
THE GUITARCHIVE – This Limited Edition 50s Twisted Telecaster (Journeyman Relic) is everything you would imagine from the Fender Custom Shop. Two-piece ash body with a lacquer finish. One-piece 2A flame maple neck boasts a ’57 soft “V” profile, vintage compound radius, and 21 narrow tall frets. The reversed angle of the hand-wound Twisted Tele bridge pickup fattens up the treble strings and tightens the bass side, while the hand-wound Twisted Tele neck pickup is mounted to the body for extra stability and stronger tone. Other features include a single-ply eight-hole parchment pickguard, three-way switching, a reverse Nocaster bridge with compensated brass saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, a bone nut and a single wing string tree.
