For Musical Instrument Consignment
Consignment Fee
We sell your items for you. We provide take-in, cleaning, research, pricing, in-store display, photography, online listings, online promotion, customer communications, selling, fees (Reverb, eBay, PayPal, etc.), packaging materials and labor, shipping carrier costs, and returns.
Our fee for this consignment service is a calculated commission fee. The fee is calculated based on the sale amount of each item, with more expensive items having a lower commission percentage. There are no fees due upfront. The fees are collected after the sale of the instrument and before payout to the owner. See our fee calculator here on this page.
NOTE: Schools, studios, and orchestras are eligible for a discounted fee rate. Please contact us to learn more.

Other Fees
We may also charge fees for strings (if we determine that they need to be changed for the item to sell) and power cables (for items that normally come with one). These fees are not due upfront. They are instead collected after the sale and before payout is made to the owner.
