1969 Gibson EB-2D Bass

This 1969 Gibson EB-2D Bass is gorgeous. The EB-2D was originally introduced in ’66, at time when bass sales were rapidly rising. The “D” in its name stands for for double pickups; an EB humbucker at the neck and an EB mini-humbucker towards the bridge. The two pickups give this bass a highly varied tonal palette, from deep rumbles to punchy mids. This bass is in great condition considering its age, with just some surface wear-and-tear.
