1959 Silvertone Stratotone

This 1959 Silvertone Stratotone is in excellent condition. It has your normal wear of an old guitar (see pics), but no cracks or breaks or repairs. It plays great. All switches, controls, and pickups are in great condition (surprisingly great!) and work as intended with no noise. The pots date 1959. Neck is straight and feels awesome. It’s a chunky C shape. Frets are good with plenty of life left, no buzzing or dead spots. Bridge is not original (considered an upgrade). Overall great shape. Could be for a collector or an every day player and primary gigging guitar. Hard to find them in this great of condition. Especially the electronics. Some people will tear these apart and sell those electronics for a pretty penny. We can’t bring ourselves to do that 🙂

We offer free shipping anywhere in the continental US. Vintage, used, and showroom products are shipped from our studio in Rock Hill, SC. New products are shipped directly from our partner manufacturers and makers. Some products are not available for shipping (this will be noted along with the product information). Shipping times vary per product.
Pickup
You can purchase a product online and then pick it up at our studio in Rock Hill, SC. Pickup times will be arranged after purchase. Vintage, used, and showroom products are onsite. New products will be shipped in from the manufacturer before pickup.
Returns
New Products
The Local Pickup offers free returns on new products within 14 days of purchase. Plus, each manufacturer/distributor offers their own extended return warrantees.
Used Products
The Local Pickup offers free returns on used products within 7 days of purchase. The product must return in the same condition as when it was sold. If there are new damages to the product, then the product will be assessed by The Local Pickup for its new value. This new adjusted amount will then be offered for the return.
Taxes
All purchases from The Local Pickup are made online on this website. Tax is automatically applied to purchases made by buyers with a South Carolina address.
Rentals
We plan to offer rentals, but we do not currently offer rentals.
