1963 Fender Duo-Sonic
THE GUITARCHIVE –Built in Leo’s shop, before he sold to CBS in January of 1965. This 1963 Fender Duo-Sonic is all original except for the volume and tone knobs. It plays great, and it sounds amazing. The electronics are pristine, and the pickups sound just like a Fender from Leo’s shop should sound – amazing, snappy, and dripping with tone. Weighing in at a little over 6.3lbs, this guitar is a pit bull delivering aggressive overdriven roars, it also has a wonderful clean sound wavering between the Tele and the Strat. The original case is included. The case has a long crack on the outside. If you were gigging, you’d want to use a different case or bag.
